The most versatile and widely used nut. ANSI B1.1 UNC and UNF Class 2B thread requirement. Grade 5. Zinc plating, retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere.Grade 8. Yellow Zinc offers a modest amount of corrosion resistance, slightly higher than that of clear zinc.
